The hotel is wonderful relaxing, has very amiable staff on customer service something of a rarity. The continental breakfast with spinach, toast and a smoked salmon sandwich is the highlight. The location is stunning, good in a lovely Yorkshire market town. Plus, this property is next to bars and restaurants, the main square in Helmsley and a restaurant as good as the staff in the Black Swan delivered.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely and charming hotel. The booked room was gorgeous and attractive with high ceiling. Very central location really close to restaurant v good, the center of the chicken, and the centre of the very pretty village, it was in a great area. The service was exceptional as I had expected. Moreover, I parked right outside.

The a double room I was given was complete with bathroom accessories and sterilised tea and hot drinks. Everything seemed good, clean and the staff were lovely people on customer service something of a rarity. The hotel was in a great and stunning location close to the centre of the picturesque town of Helmsley as well as the bar restaurant and domestic. Also, a rich medieval stone fortress was placed at a small distance.
